Frequently Asked Questions...and Answers
HOW CAN I SPEAK TO THE CITY COUNCIL ABOUT THIS?
West Covina's City Council meets on the first and third Tuesday of every month. They meet in Council Chambers at City Hall. City Hall is located at 1444 W Garvey Ave S., West Covina, CA 91790.
If you haven’t spoken at a City Council meeting before, it’s easy to do. Before you enter City Council Chambers, pick up a yellow card, fill it out, and provide it to the City Clerk.
The yellow cards are used to announce you before speaking.
Each speaker has up to 5 minutes to state their point of view. You do NOT have to be a resident of West Covina to speak.
If you would prefer not to speak, but still want the City Council to know your point of view, pick up an orange card before entering City Council Chambers, fill it out, and provide that to the City Clerk.
Any comments you put on the orange card about BKK, the proposed Singpoli development, or any other matter will be read into the official record for this City Council meeting just as if you’d spoken them yourself.
